About Leaf Bean Machine
Leaf Bean Machine started in 2010, founded by Fleur and Brad Cassidy with a team of three. Today that team is over 20, supporting hospitality venues across Western Australia. The roastery sits in Bibra Lake, where the house brand, Karvan Coffee, has been roasted from the start. The range runs to specialty blends and single origins, graded from 80+ point green beans, plus Pure Tea blended in Perth. The team has been to origin and built relationships with the people they source from. After more than 16 years, the business is now owned by Shaun and Emily Tonkinson, who carry on the same wrap-around service: supply, machines, in-house technicians and barista training. The thread through all of it is deep local relationships across Perth and regional WA.
