About Ona Coffee

In 2008, Saša Šestić started ONA Coffee out of a garage in Canberra. A former Olympic handball player, he had one aim: make great coffee and share it as widely as possible. He built the company around three values — innovation, community, excellence. Šestić went on to win the World Barista Championship in 2015. The team he built has since added multiple Australian Barista Championships, a World Cup Tasters Championship in 2021, and multiple podium finishes on the world stage. Today ONA roasts single-origin beans from a Canberra roastery running on solar power since November 2019. Four flagship cafés operate across Australia.
