Who is Mule Coffee Roasters?
Mule Coffee Roasters buys its coffee straight from the farmer. It works on direct trade, so growers get fair pay and avoid commodity market pressures. In the roaster's words, every bean is "ethically sourced, never from commercial commodity coffee traders." The range includes single origins and micro-lots. The La Bomba range comes entirely from César Buesaquillo, who grows coffee in the heart of a Colombian national park. Through a sponsorship program, Mule secures his entire harvest at a fair price. You can drink it at the Mule Espresso Bar in Marrickville, Monday to Friday, 8:00 til 2:00. Or order online. Subscriptions are available, and shipping is free on orders of $57 or more.
