Coffee Alchemy has the competition record to back its roasting. It counts an Australian Barista Champion, NSW Championship titles, and the inaugural Australian Cupping Champion. The Sydney Morning Herald Good Café Guide named it Best Coffee four years running, from 2011 to 2014. Behind the trophies is a simple approach: roast latest-harvest beans the way the farmer intended, and buy direct from specialty growers. The roastery is in Marrickville, with cafés across the city, including Gumption in The Strand Arcade and Micro Coffee in Barangaroo.
