Who is FOB Coffee?
Lien was born in Vietnam and came to Australia as a refugee in 1982. Lien and David met in 2003, married, and started their life together in Geraldton, WA. Then a visit to Vietnam turned into ten years there. That's where they were introduced to Vietnamese coffee. In 2018 they moved back to Australia and began importing roasted beans from Vietnam. They soon realised that "Australians want fresh, locally roasted." So Fresh off the Boat Coffee now roasts Vietnamese coffee in Murdoch, Perth. Their focus is Robusta. While modern trends lean towards lighter roasts and 100% Arabica, they love "full bodied, dark Robusta/Ara blends, or even 100% Robusta beans." Their range includes coffees from Vietnam, Timor Leste and PNG.
