Frothin Coffee

Who is Frothin Coffee?

Frothin Coffee started with a simple plan: "Follow your dream. Quit your day job." Then open a coffee shop. It was a way for Purri, Steph and their family to step outside the norm and build something together. First came a funky little orange Kombi van, decked out to brew coffee. The goal was fun. That meant roasting their own beans, pulling shots on an old school lever machine, involving the kids and surfing after work. Next came a small-batch, wood-fired roastery in Mandurah, WA, built inside a converted 20-foot shipping container with enough capacity to make coffee for local cafés. Beans come from Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and Brazil. Roast profiles rely on sight, smell, sound and a simple bean temperature probe.
