Who is Roastlab?

Before coffee, there was a career in media, as an account manager at The Age newspaper. A passion for hospitality and people changed course. Next came a café and a small business to run. That hands-on time showed what café owners face every day. Early mornings. The pressure to deliver quality. The challenge of keeping customers coming back. Roast Lab began in 2013 in Epping, Melbourne, built on that experience. Today it roasts single origins from India, Ethiopia, Nicaragua and Colombia, and supplies cafés with fresh coffee every week. Running a coffee farm added a view from origin: cultivation, harvesting and processing, learned firsthand. As they put it, Roast Lab exists “to serve people with great coffee and support them to succeed.”
