First place at the Golden Bean 2025 — the world's largest coffee roasting competition — says a lot about where Glee Coffee Roasters sits in the Australian specialty scene. Based on the Central Coast of NSW, Glee is a family roastery started by brothers Ben and Chris Gleeson alongside their wives Jem and Beth. The sourcing philosophy is straightforward: only ethically sourced green bean, with two house blends — "The Goods" and the punchier "The Verve" — and four seasonal single-origin coffees each season. Over ten years, they have refined this range from their Wyong roastery and now operate three cafés across the region.
