About Fat Cat Coffee Roasters
Fat Cat started as garage roasters. What took them to "the real deal" was a run-down former supermarket on Boolarra Avenue in Newborough — now the HQ where every bag is roasted, packed and shipped. Since 2021 the team has worked in the heart of Gippsland, with roots in their own cafés: Danbo's Coffee in Newborough and Traralgon. They roast blends, single origins and micro-lots for espresso and filter. The green coffee comes from Colombia, Ethiopia, Peru and Indonesia. The thread through all of it is accessible coffee — good beans, made easy to live with. There's a subscription with 15% off and free shipping over $99.
