About Dominion Coffee Roastery

It started in 1998 as a small corner café, with a batch roaster tucked in the back room. From there, Coffee Dominion grew into one of the most recognised coffee brands in North Queensland. Today the roastery sits in Railway Estate, Townsville. The beans run through a 35kg Loring Smart Roaster, then ship throughout Australia. What hasn't changed is the focus on the people and places behind the coffee. Coffee Dominion calls this “socially conscionable” trading — an interest in the product, the people involved, and the environment they live in. Sustainability and the social side of the global coffee trade matter here, and they want customers to learn about it too.
