Who is Q Roasters?

Lee Mary was born in Papua New Guinea. She grew up in the Wahgi Valley, a coffee-growing region in the PNG Highlands. Her family helped small holder and small estate growers get better yields and returns. On school holidays, she picked coffee to earn money. Lachlan grew up in country Queensland and moved to PNG at 21 to work in coffee. Over the next 10 years he learned to grow, process, roast and blend. Today he is a registered Australian Q Grader and International Coffee Judge. That background shapes Q Roasters. The roaster sources from producers of Organic and Rainforest Alliance coffees, or estates that support sustainable agriculture. As they put it: "Coffee is our craft and our passion."
