About Coffico Coffee

In 1995, Melbourne's espresso market was run by a handful of large companies, some shipping roasted coffee from Europe by sea. George Zissis and Tony Conversano saw room for something fresher. They started Coffico Coffee in a small Coburg North factory, roasting daily and building blends to suit each customer. Nearly thirty years on, Coffico is one of Melbourne's largest commercial roasters, with capacity for over 150 tonne a week, supplying most Australian states and overseas. It stays family-owned and operated, and every batch is still roasted fresh. The focus hasn't moved: consistency, quality and service. The range runs from single-origin to espresso blends, including a Fair Trade Leaf Organic line. Coffee ships Australia-wide at a $15 flat rate.
