Who is Barista Sista Coffee Roasters?

Barista Sista started with a sea change. In 2011, Nigel and Diana Wheeler wanted a new direction in their careers. Diana trained as a barista, and her enthusiasm was so infectious that Nigel followed suit. In 2012 they opened their café and coffee shop. Their thirst for more knowledge soon led them into roasting. Today Barista Sista is a boutique family roastery in the main street of Nuriootpa, in South Australia's Barossa Valley. All of their coffee is roasted, stamped and bagged on-site, in small batches, every week. They source only high-altitude specialty grade Arabica, some of it certified organic. Origins include Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Peru, Papua New Guinea, Costa Rica, Mexico and Brazil. The range runs to 13 varieties, and their House Blend took Bronze at the 2019 Golden Bean.
