It started with a simple idea: brew great coffee to fund something meaningful. In the beginning it was one veteran, a coffee trailer and weekend markets, barely breaking even. After countless rejections, one of Melbourne's top roasters took a chance, and Aussie Veterans Coffee Co was born as an online retail business. The founder is now a full-time veteran advocate. The mission has only grown. Profits are reinvested into veteran employment and free social programs, including around 30 free social events a year for veterans, first responders and their families. In 2024 the team opened Black Site Fitness, Australia's first allied health centre built exclusively for veterans and first responders. The coffee has kept winning too: 23 Golden Bean Awards since 2019. The range covers blends, single origins, pods and decaf, sourced from origins including Timor-Leste, Colombia and Australian-grown Dimbulah Mountain Estate. Community Support Subscriptions are available for regular buyers.
