Who is Yowie Coffee?

Greg Dunphy established Yowie Coffee in 2005. He provided fresh roasted coffee to locals and “the weary traveller alike” from his roadside kiosk. Greg is still the owner and roaster, and you can meet the team at the Yowie Coffee Kiosk at Yowie Park in Kilcoy, Queensland. Demand has grown since 2005. Yowie now supplies beans to cafés, corporate offices and home coffee lovers across Australia. Yowie's coffee blog makes the case for espresso blends. Its view is that a single origin “will often lack” the complexity espresso needs, and that espresso blends start from a base of coffees such as Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Peru, for sweetness and body. The judges have noticed. Between 2011 and 2014, Yowie collected six medals across the Golden Bean, Sydney Royal Fine Food and Australian International Coffee Awards.
