About Vertue Coffee Roasters
Vertue Coffee Roasters works single-origin microlots from Ethiopia, Rwanda, Honduras and Nicaragua. Some are anaerobic — fermented without oxygen for sweeter, funkier cups. The roastery sits behind their Port Melbourne café, visible through internal windows. Everything is roasted in-house: for their own stores, their wholesale customers, and people brewing at home. Alongside the coffee you'll find house-made sticky chai and specialty drinking chocolate. Their Roasters' Choice monthly subscription delivers a Coffee of the Month to your door. These are often first-release coffees not available to the wider public. If you like knowing where your beans come from, this roaster is worth a look.
