Who is The Flags Coffee?
The Flags Coffee Co began with a café. In 2019, Mitchal Parkin opened Between the Flags Coffee in Dicky Beach, QLD. From there, the roaster says, "it was a natural progression to want more control over the quality of the product we were serving". Drawing on decades of experience with some of Australia's top roasters, Mitchal established The Flags Coffee Co in 2022. Today the business is based in Moffat Beach, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The roaster says its coffee is "now featured in cafes Australia wide". The range includes single origins, described as "an ever-evolving lineup sourced from the best coffee-producing regions of the world". Three blends round it out: Offshore, Tidal and the First Light Seasonal Filter Blend. The founding idea was "to connect community through coffee". The tagline says it shorter: "Life is swell with The Flags."
