Jack Murat Coffee is 100% Australian grown. It is grown, processed and roasted in Mareeba, Queensland, on what they describe as "Australia's largest coffee estate". The roastery sits one hundred metres from the wet mill. In their words: "The green bean travels further to get into a customer's hands than it does to get into our roaster." That closeness shapes the routine. Every lot is cupped weekly. Roast profiles shift through the season. Everything is roasted to order in small batches and dispatched within two business days. The estate is 100% family owned, with 95 hectares of Arabica across five paddocks. Washed, natural and honey lots all come from the one estate.
