Who is Swell Coffee?

A Wollongong business through and through. SwEll Coffee roasts fresh in Coniston, Wollongong, “right by the coast we call home.” Being local means more than an address. It’s about supporting the community and “keeping the Illawarra buzzing one cup at a time.” The track record backs it up. SwEll started in 2006 as a tiny hole-in-the-wall café on the edge of Wollongong’s CBD. Other local cafés soon asked to serve the coffee too. By 2013, SwEll was roasting and delivering along the South Coast, from Sydney to Huskisson. Today it supplies home brewers and café owners. Blends include the Cafe Blend, the bold Five Islands Blend, Coal Coast Blend and Swell Decaf. It’s still a small business, and in its own words, “we still care about every cup.” A coffee subscription is available too.
