Who is Streat Coffee?
Every bag of STREAT coffee does two jobs. In the roaster's own words, the beans "taste good, and do good, too." STREAT is a social enterprise. Each purchase directly supports training and job opportunities for some of Victoria's most marginalised young people. The small-batch roastery is based in Collingwood, Melbourne, and has been roasting since 2012. Its baristas use the coffee every day across 8 STREAT cafés. Online, the range covers the Social Blend, a regularly changing single origin, an organic coffee, a decaf and biodegradable coffee pods. The beans are ethically sourced and suit espresso, French press, pourover and batch brew.
