Who is South Roast Coffee?
South Roast is a very small batch roastery. The team controls every stage of the roasting process by hand, backed by data logging software. It is a micro roastery based on the Tasman Peninsula, Tasmania. It sits "amongst native bush", in what the team calls a "peaceful bush setting". The focus is coffee that is fully traceable and ethically sourced. In their words, these are coffees "traded with respect" that "highlight the unique taste profile of their origin". The origins page lists coffees from Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Kenya, India and Indonesia, plus a decaf from Mexico. If you like knowing where your coffee came from, and that it was roasted with care, this is a good place to look.
