Who is Solitude Coffee?
Solitude Coffee Roasters began in 2021. After years of working and learning from others, James decided "it was time to build something of my own." He'd moved to Queensland's Sunshine Coast "keen for a lifestyle change that provided more simplicity and balance." Today Solitude roasts in Coolum Beach, on the Sunshine Coast. The name came from his mornings. The sun on the horizon, the birds singing, that first sip of sweet coffee. In his words: "That's my solitude." It's an independent specialty roaster with a small, highly experienced team. Expect espresso blends like Wake Up Call and Dead Set, plus "a range of carefully selected single origin coffees" for espresso and filter. In its own words, Solitude is "a place of community, for the community." It supports the Sunshine Coast community and partners with small businesses.
