Who is Six8 Coffee Roasters?
Daniel and Toni Neuhaus started Six8 Coffee Roasters in 2013 as a side project. The goal was to raise money to help fight child slavery and sex trafficking. At the time, they were working as volunteer missionaries. They had spent time in SE Asia, South America and Europe among some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people. It broke their hearts, but they knew there was still hope. Today Six8 roasts small-batch, ethically sourced coffee in Yass, NSW. It supplies cafés across Canberra and regional NSW. The giving model is simple. $1 from every kilo sold goes to mission partners working to rescue, prevent and restore children from sexual slavery. Partners include Destiny Rescue, Tamar Korat and Cambodia Slum Ministry.
