In 2018, Yama (Jinwoo) Kim visited coffee estates in Colombia and Brazil during a competition. The trip changed how he saw the work. Good coffee, he decided, meant more than flavour. It meant fair payment to growers and pickers, and support on sustainability. So he founded Leible Coffee. Yama is Australia's first World Cup Tasters champion, with a degree in viticulture behind him. From Sydney, he roasts single-origin and specialty coffee in small batches. The beans come from Colombia and Brazil, anchored by a house blend called Absolute. The aim is simple: excel at every stage, from origin to your cup.
