About Seven Miles Roasters
In 1968, Ian Bersten fired up Belaroma Coffee in leafy Roseville, just as Australia's espresso obsession began. Bigger dreams needed bigger space, so in 1979 roasting moved to the northern beaches. In 2016 Belaroma became Seven Miles, named after the 1940s ferry slogan: “Seven Miles from Sydney, a thousand miles from care.” Same mission, fresh look. Today the Manly Vale roastery serves cafés and coffee lovers nationwide. It runs on solar that has saved over 200,000 kilograms of CO2. Sourcing stays hands-on: direct partnerships and specialist brokers, chosen for fairness as much as flavour. Expect single-origin and blends.
