Six of One is named for six kids. Jason and Lucy are their parents. Jason spent 25 years living out of a suitcase as a software executive, often away from his family. The couple juggled life between Australia and Portland, Oregon. Portland's outdoor lifestyle, roasteries and micro-breweries left their mark. Today the family has settled in Toowoomba, Queensland. That's where they roast, on a Diedrich. Jason dreamed of a passion project: roasting and serving great coffee, contributing to his local community and being part of the Darling Downs produce scene. The sourcing backs it up. They mostly buy from micro-lot farmers, roast seasonal varietals and showcase single origins.
