About Saazaa
SAAZAA owns its own farms, which is rare for a coffee roaster. That control runs the whole chain, from soil to roast to packaging. It also means paying farmers a fair wage and keeping ethics at the foundation of every decision. SAAZAA roasts in Ringwood, Victoria, sourcing beans from Kenya, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Colombia and El Salvador. The team takes sourcing slow, learning each country's beans before moving to the next. On offer: espresso and filter beans, plus a Swiss Water decaf called Maji. There is more than coffee, too. Roastery tours, home barista sessions and public cupping nights run from the Ringwood HQ. If you want a cup with a clear conscience behind it, this is a roaster worth a look.
