Who is Prodigal Coffee?
Prodigal Coffee roasts fresh and to order, in small batches. That means your beans are roasted after you order, not before. It's a boutique roaster based on the Mornington Peninsula. In their own words, they "craft coffee for nerds and everyday drinkers alike." Sourcing gets real attention, from ultra-micro-lots to farm-specific and regional coffees and rotating single origins. The range runs from "sweet, simple, everyday drinkers" to "big, juicy fruit bombs." Head roaster and director Caleb keeps the brief simple: coffee "has to be damn tasty". Subscriptions are available if you'd like fresh coffee on repeat, and they sell tea as well.
