PLCoffee Company

Who is PLCoffee Company?

PLCoffee started in a motorhome. Robert Booth and his wife Lis were home-roasting their own coffee while travelling Australia, with whatever beans they could get. Supply on the road wasn't guaranteed, so it was a bit of "Pot Luck". Soon they were roasting for friends and family. Then they parked the motorhome and started building a house. In 2009 they installed a small commercial roaster and rebranded Pot Luck into PLC. Today it's a tiny roastery on the North-East coast of Tasmania, with Lis as Chief-taster. They roast on demand, lean light, and deliver within 3–5 days of roasting. The Pot Luck spirit lives on in the Journey Blend. Stocks are kept small, so the mix changes every week. As they put it: "Journey-blends are truly Pot Luck."
