"James loves his coffee — but not the price tag that came with great quality." So in 2018, he teamed up with a close mate, an exceptional roaster, to make a blend that was delicious, versatile and affordable. Inspired by a local surf break, Big Left was born on the Mornington Peninsula. Today Mornington Coffee roasts by hand in small batches in Mornington, Victoria. The shop roasters are custom-built and handcrafted in Portugal. Every roast is tracked and every batch is tasted. The coffee is specialty-grade, ethically sourced and traceable. Where they can't get to origin themselves, they lean on ethical importers. As they put it: "No fluff, just great small batch coffee made easy."
