About Mikro Coffee Roasters
Mikro started in a backyard shed with a tiny roaster and a big idea. Founder Valeri Tkatchenko wanted to bring something better to the local community. That shed grew into a roastery in Torquay, Victoria. Mikro now works directly with growers in Australia and around the world, and pays them fairly. The beans are direct trade, it supports fair trade, and it cuts plastic where it can. The roastery runs carbon-neutral and gives 20% of its profits back.
