Morgans works to one simple idea: "the best things are made slowly." This family roaster is based in Emu Heights, NSW, in the Nepean Valley. The name Morgan means "water-borne". The family say the valley's river runs through their story. They've been roasting for 21 years and have stayed privately owned. That independence, they say, leaves them "free to focus on what matters most." Sourcing is strict. In their words: "We don't buy cheap or defective beans." Only clean, specialty-grade coffee makes the cut. Alongside coffee, they also roast cacao for their own bean-to-bar chocolate.
