Great coffee starts with the farmers who grow it. That is the idea behind Little Rebel, a roaster on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. They source Arabica from Brazil, Colombia and further afield, then roast on a Giesen roaster from Holland for consistent results batch to batch. The café sits at 22 Collins Street, Dromana, open Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 2pm. Cannot get there in time? A vending machine stocks freshly roasted beans 24/7. The house blend, Black Sheep, is half Brazil Natural and half Colombia Washed, with toffee, caramel and brown sugar. Prefer it delivered? A subscription brings fresh beans to your door at the frequency you choose, in 250g, 500g or 1kg, whole bean or ground.
