Who is Infuse Coffee Roasters?
Rob and Cath Simpson were frustrated with the limited choice and not-so-fresh beans in their local market. So they started roasting coffee at home as a hobby. In 2010 they founded Infuse Coffee Roasters. It began as an online business, then expanded into retail. It now services over 135 outlets (as at February 2026). Today the boutique roastery is based in South Burnie, Tasmania. It works out of a workers cottage built in 1900 and renovated in 2012, open six days a week for takeaway or a sit-down. The focus is high-altitude Arabica: seasonal single origins that change month to month, alongside award-winning blends. In their words, they “pride ourselves in customer service and quality, fresh and consistent roasting.”
