Brothers Trevor and Steve Simmons opened the first Industry Beans in Fitzroy in 2013. The idea was simple: a roastery, café and brew bar under one roof. Today there are seven venues across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. That makes Industry Beans Australia's largest independent specialty coffee roaster. They roast specialty single-origins and blends, sourced from Central America, Africa and Asia. Every batch is roasted to its own profile, then packed fresh. Sustainability runs through it. They roast on Loring machines that use up to 70% less fuel, the packaging is Australia's first 100% recyclable coffee packaging, and every cup brewed plants trees through their Crop to Crop program. Subscriptions start at 10% off and grow to 15%, with no commitment.
