Coffee in Australia has changed shape many times since 1879. Griffiths Bros has roasted through all of it. In the roaster's own words: "We have grown up with Australia and have watched the coffee market take shape and reshape time and again." One thing stayed constant: the love of coffee. Today the beans are roasted, blended and packed in Mulgrave, on Wurundjeri country in Melbourne. The roastery runs a fully integrated Italian Brambati line, on-site Q graders and an in-house R&D lab. As an Australian-owned family business, those values run from bean sourcing through to the team. Single-origin coffees and blends are ethically and sustainably sourced, and carry Australian Certified Organic and Fairtrade marks. The company is now working toward closed-loop coffee, lowering its impact from crop to cup.
