About Elixir Coffee Roasters
Jason and David Narciso are the brother duo behind Elixir Coffee Roasters. After finishing their studies, they bought a café on Queen Street. That gave them the leverage to add two more cafés in the Brisbane CBD and a coffee machine service company, all before they turned 30. In 2007 they launched Elixir Coffee, in their words, to “get back to our heritage”. Today the brand roasts four signature blends daily from its head quarters in Brisbane's Inner North. One of them is the Fratelli Blend. Fratelli means brothers, and Narciso is the family name. The business remains family-owned and privately-owned, one of the few specialty roasters in Queensland that still is. Everything is 100% Arabica. Single origins are picked at a cupping score of 85 or higher, with a new one featured each month. Ask them what it is like working together and the answer is “it’s great… mostly”.
