Ross Patch's Armidale tea and coffee shop began with a chance find. Walking through Newtown one afternoon in 2006, he found a tea shop with a range so vast it made him stop and go in. A lover of quality tea and coffee, he saw an opportunity. Daily Ritual opened in 2007, based in Armidale in the New England region, with more than 200 varieties of tea and several coffee blends. The aim, in the shop's own words: "A place for people who would appreciate something a little better close to home." Today Ross offers delivery throughout New England and Australia wide. His coffee range is described as ethically sourced and multi-award-winning. His products have won awards from Sydney Fine Food, Hobart Fine Food and the Melbourne International Coffee Expo. One detail says a lot. Ross calibrates his scales every week, so customers get exactly what they pay for.
