Who is Core Roasters?
Core Roasters imports and roasts its own coffee, from producers who treat their land and people with respect. The goal, in their words, is to celebrate “what’s important; people and flavour.” The Core team, including Michael Allen and Dani Sunario, works from a roastery café in Brunswick East, Victoria. Michael brings over a decade of experience in Melbourne’s coffee scene. The team also imports its own cacao and tea, makes chocolate from scratch and bakes every pastry from scratch. Even the box is considered. It’s made from 100% recycled stock with water-soluble glue and inks, so it can go straight into your recycling bin. Club Core delivers fortnightly, billed monthly, or prepaid for 3, 6 or 12 months. Members get discounts on Core merch and brewing gear, plus early access to special releases.
