Who is Coffee Roasters Australia?
In 2009, Alana and Mark Beattie bought and established Coffee Roasters Australia. By 2021 the business employed 20 people across Australia and Hong Kong. They're based in Arundel on the Gold Coast. This isn't a bean roaster in the usual sense. They make and supply roasting equipment, and also offer espresso equipment, lab and QA equipment, and spare parts. The work goes beyond selling machines. In their words, "we also design, modify and manufacture various equipment and control systems, and can provide installation of the equipment." They also offer training, consulting, and contract roasting and grinding. Coffee Roasters Australia is now part of the CRA Group, alongside Capsule Pack and CRA TECHNOLOGY. They describe themselves as Australia's first compostable capsule packer.
