A group of Melbourne coffee enthusiasts started Coffee Hit in the backstreets of Abbotsford in 2008. The idea was to source the freshest specialty-grade coffee direct from farmers, and make it accessible to coffee lovers across Australia. That mission still holds. The roastery now runs from Richmond, where buyers who visit origin bring back what they learn about growing and processing. Beans ship to arrive within 14 days of roast, the window for maximum flavour. The whole operation is Climate Active certified carbon neutral.
