It started with a café. In May 2016, Seaford locals Skye and Joshua opened Bear & Cub. They wanted a space that feels like home and brings the community together. They also wanted coffee that feels like "a big warm hug". That eventually turned into roasting their own beans. In May 2018 they started Coffee for the People Roasting Co. Today it's a family-run business based in Seaford, Victoria. They roast for wholesale and retail customers, and the café has shown a different artist every month since 2016.
