Botero Coffee Roasters
About Botero Coffee Roasters
Botero began in 2003, distributing coffee from the storage area of a first café in Maclean. The family stayed put. The HQ is still in Maclean, Northern NSW, now in a restored 1940s building that started life as a mechanical workshop, overlooking the Clarence River. They acquired it in 2010 and rebuilt it after extensive repairs. In 2020 they opened a second facility in Hobart to look after café partners across Tasmania. Today Botero roasts five signature blends: Brass, Dew, Organic Rain, Toba and Swiss Water Decaf, plus Marco, which combines five origins. The roasting principle is simple: good green beans taste good roasted. The primary roaster was custom-made by Brambati in Italy for consistency across blends and single origins, all year round.
