Who is Wood Fired Coffee?
Most roasters use gas or electric heat. Wood Fired Coffee roasts over real wood fire instead. In their words, it creates "a natural, dry heat that caramelises the beans evenly—without scorching, charring, or compromising flavour." The fuel is reclaimed timber, burnt in a custom-built roaster, in small batches. The roastery has also invested in a 20kW solar system. Roasting by-products like husks and hessian bags go to Kimbriki. The beans are ethically sourced Arabica. Buy them whole, ground, decaf, organic or as Nespresso-compatible capsules.
