Who is Smay Coffee?

Smay Coffee runs on one simple rule: "If we don't love the coffee, we don't sell it." This small roastery is based in Sydney and roasts fresh every week. It buys carefully selected micro-lots, chosen for "more clarity, sweetness, and character." Single-origin espresso is part of the range, and Panama is among its origins. The farmers are part of the story too. Smay sets out to honour the people who grow each bean, and to celebrate their story in every roast. Not one for fuss? Neither is Smay. "Great coffee doesn't have to be complicated," the team says. Their roasts are made to be easy to brew and genuinely enjoyable. Cafés can get in on it as well. Smay crafts custom roasts, designs labels and builds profiles made just for a café.
