Who is Rise Roasting?

Rise Roasting started with Alexa exploring Melbourne's café scene. In her words, that "evolved into a deep respect for flavour, sourcing and the craft of roasting." Today Rise Roasting is based in Sydney, where Alexa is founder and head roaster and is raising a young family. That shapes how she sees coffee. It's "fuel for busy mornings, long afternoons and everything in between." So the aim is coffee that's consistent and balanced. Every batch is roasted to order from specialty-grade, responsibly sourced beans. Nothing sits on shelves. The roastery is family-run and kept lean. That keeps prices fair, without inflated margins. Single origins and blends are on offer for home brewers, workplaces and cafés.
