Who is Primo Caffe?
In 1982, Giuseppe Di Stefano founded Primo Caffe. His Original Cafe Blend is the signature creation he made famous over 40 years ago. The business stayed in the family. His son Nicola joined in 1998, and grandson Nicolas followed in 2011. Three generations on, the Di Stefano family still owns and runs Primo Caffe in Sydney. The setup has changed along the way. A roasting facility installed in 2006 can handle 1.2 tonnes of coffee an hour. Since 2019, 40% of the plant has run on solar. Aluminium pods arrived in 2021, lightweight and 100% recyclable. The goal hasn't moved. For over 40 years, the mission has been to roast "the tastiest and best value coffee beans on the Australian market."
