Who is KWILA Coffee?

Kwila wants to close the gap between the people who drink coffee and the places it comes from. In their words: "We are committed to bridging the gap between coffee consumers & origin." Kwila is a small-batch roaster based in the Northern Rivers, on Bundjalung Country. It has a regional focus on Papua New Guinea. The mission is to support "decolonising the supply chain through traceability, social & ecological justice". You can visit the Kwila espresso bar at 46 Foster St, Surry Hills. There's also Timbre Lismore on Dawson St, a coffee bar and community space billed as Kwila Coffee x Blackfulla Bookclub. Roasting happens on a Loring S15 Falcon.
