Guerrilla Roasters

Who is Guerrilla Roasters?

Guerrilla Roasters was founded in 2018 by Mathew Hatcher and Lewis McKenzie. The idea was simple: roast the best coffee they could get their hands on. Today they roast in small batches in Moruya, NSW. In their words, they're "more concerned with quality than being one of the big guys." Every bean they buy is fully traceable. They only buy from suppliers who work with farmers on sustainability and quality. Their belief is that "a great cup of coffee starts on the farm." That belief runs to Colombia. Each year they buy Ramiro Bermudez's entire specialty-standard crop from Finca el Encanto in Manzanares. Ten per cent of sales from that single origin go to Fundación Esparza Monforte. Free shipping kicks in over $150.
