Who is Fire & Ice Coffee?
Fire & Ice Coffee set out to make coffee that "actually tastes like coffee. Not bitter. Not burnt." The name explains the rest. Fire is for freshly roasted beans. Ice is for their cold brew concentrate, made with only two ingredients: filtered water and their own beans. It's a small, family-built business based in Newcastle, NSW. They roast in small batches, and there's no mass production. The range is deliberately tight: "one roast, one brew. No fluff." They have loyal customers across the country, plus "a few hockey rinks and motorsport events too". They also run a small-group roasting experience in their tiny-house roastery. It takes about 120 minutes. You roast 2,000g of Guatemala and take home around 1,800g.
